Two years ago I was homeless! My PTSD had got the better of me since I left the Army and my bad choices spiraled out of control! Two years ago I decided to start fighting for my life again and my families! Fast forward to 40 days ago. I reached out to Veterans United on a hope and a prayer, something I wasn’t even sure was possible with such a challenging past and so many obstacles. I knew having my 100%, my ability to do the right thing, being willing to put in the work, and just following the lead I would be able to eventually get a house. I just didn’t know how soon. Ross and his team worked tirelessly for me! Every obstacle we faced, we found a way and made it work! In 30 days we were cleared to close. In 40 days I became a homeowner. My family was once displaced, homeless, and not sure where we’d lay our head. Now, my family never has to worry again. My children can grow up in their forever home. My wife and I can create and make our home, OUR HOME! Veterans United did more for my family than a lot have! Of course, I was able to accommodate all of their requests and needs, but they were able to do the same for mine as well! Ross and Jeffery were amazing! Even Christopher on the start when I had a low credit score, to help direct me and me being able to get my credit score up 100 points in two weeks was just unbelievable! This whole process was unbelievable and I’ll be forever grateful for this team and never forget what they have done for me! I will always recommend them!
See previous statement. And understand that while other lenders (2) were fine with us being left homeless and in the street. Scott came through for me in less than a month. He took phone calls from me asking for help before he was even my loan officer. There is nobody else I'd recommend to a friend buying a home than Scott Davis. Start to finish, where others lie and cut corners, Scott gave all of his effort and attention to my urgent scenario and took care of me and my new family. We cannot put into words how grateful we truly are. In the Navy, he would be awarded the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his above and beyond performance. I really hope to be informed that he be recognized for what he did for us, when nobody else would.

Our loan team knocked it out the park! We cannot believe we’re homeowners. Thanks to their hard work, knowledge, and dedication they got us in our first home. Heidi is such a powerhouse as a loan officer and she never lost faith that she’d get us in our home. Her assistant Bryce was on the forefront handling all communication and taking everything head-on. Our real estate agent Helen Kizer was amazing and so great at negotiating a deal on our behalf.
