Be prepared for a lot of steps... and remember to be patient. A lot of things about the process may not make sense, but once you reach the end you'll be able to see what those were about. Check your email often - throughout the day - and respond to things from them as quickly as you can to help keep everything running as smoothly as possible.Don't go crazy buying stuff for the new house until AFTER you've closed and gotten everything connected, hooked up and paid for - the power, water, etc. Remember, things can fall through on you until after everything is signed at closing.

Haley and Danielle were incredible. It was clear that they truly cared about us and our experience.The underwriting team, however, I wanted to say horrible things too. Everyday, it was some new bullshit thing they had never mentioned before that they needed in order for us to close. Sometimes, it was even something we had already provided. We closed 2 days late because the underwriting team couldn't get their shit together, resulting in additional hotel and moving truck expenses. I hope they step on a lego once a day til the end of time.

Beth Fletcher, Nikki Hilliard and the team were so professional, courteous and thoughtful throughout the entire process. My wife Kim and I had Beth work her magic on a home we bought in Elgin when we lived there. We are finally retiring and moving from Oahu Hawaii back to our home state of Texas.
