Emails/phones calls to bring clarity and understanding to what the underwriters are requesting. Good personal record keeping practice is a must. Prepare for the VA Funding Fee which can be a surprise for those can't provide a down-payment. A down-payment will to bring the fee down. If you choose, it can be rolled into the loan.
