I had a VA loan in 2008 and did'nt have to do half the stuff I had to do for this loan. I mentioned this to my realitor (Shelly Keller) and she sat me down and explained the changes over the years and why. This helped me understand the process. If you have anymore clients in Colorado you should use her she is a great realtor.
The team did an excellent job
Team was amazing 100% would work with them again
Everyone was so pleasant to work with. They asked for documents, I didn't hesitate and got them what they needed. We closed on our home very quickly and easily. All of my questions were answered and they made the process so very easy. Still don't want to buy another home any time soon, but will definitely use Veterans United Home Loans again!
I would specifically point to Kelsey Riggs and Shari Wooldridge who BOTH handled my home-buying process with expertice and patience
Aaron, Cierra and Phoebe were great! They assisted where ever they could. They were available on the weekends and they broke everything down for us to understand as first time buyers! We greatly appreciated their patience and help!!

Great !
Love the team made dealing with the sellers team so easy, very supportive and transparent across the board.
Amazing
I do not know if there was a disconnect between VU and the underwriters and the VA or what, but my experience was horrible. Also when I closed they added $10,000 more than I asked/wanted?????
Response from Veterans United
Hey Kevin,
I’m really sorry to hear how frustrating this experience was for you. Feeling like there was a disconnect during the process, especially between different parts of the loan and VA requirements, can make an already stressful time even harder.
I’m also concerned by what you mentioned about the additional $10,000 at closing. I can understand how surprising and upsetting that must have felt, especially if it didn’t align with what you expected or discussed. I’d like the chance to take a closer look at your file so I can better understand what happened and help provide some clarity around those numbers.
If you’re open to it, please reach out to me directly so we can dig into this together. You can contact the Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, and we’re always happy to follow up the next business day if you reach out after hours.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
Easy and pleasant to work with. Attentive to detail. Great!
From the beginning, every representative at every stage was unbelievably attentive. From helping me work out things on my credit report to closing day. I never thought it was possible for me to own a home of my own, but they gave me the tools and the confidence to keep moving forward! I am grateful for all of their hard work.
The Veterans United team provided supportive assistance at every level of my home buying experience. I never had to wait or worry for a response because they responded immediately ensuring that I felt valued and respected.
My Team worked efficiently with us by utilizing constant communication.
David explained the whole process and prepped us each step of the way.
There when you need them, even sometime on the weekends.
