I've already started to tell everyone I know to call Veterans United, specifically Jake Force, if they are looking towards buying a home, whether it be now, or in the future. Justin and Sara couldn't have been anymore helpful. When things where not going according to plan they kept pushing hard to help us into our home.
Overall, the home loan process was very smooth. The team Veterans United provided for me was professional, efficient, and effective. The only complaint I have is that the Veterans United VA loan rate page states that "a good credit score almost always means a lower rate". This was not accurate I have excellent credit and was given the highest current VA home loan rate. It was only later in the home buying process where I learned that if I wanted the lower advertised number I had to "Buy down" my rate. I recognize that many factors influence rates. However, the statement on the loan rate page is misleading.
Mr. Crites was great, and so was his team. He may not have been able to talk on the phone a lot, but he made sure I was in the loop with text messages and emails. He also called back anytime I left a message or texted him. He was very kind and thoughtful with my needs and made sure I received the best deal on my new home.
