Seen mixed feelings about VU, and wasn’t sure about it at 1st, but the team was great, the process was easy & all done on my iPhone, when I needed help, all my concerns were addressed by Dean in no time! In the beginning we had a couple of hiccups, but once we got placed with our loan officer the experience was great! Everyone is super friendly, and if you don’t know the home-buying process, they really make sure you understand how everything works, and exactly what you are signing. I had a great experience from start to finish with VU. To be honest, I had tried using them 5 years ago and I went with another lender back then. However, I’m glad I gave them another chance for this new purchase! I was able to complete almost everything through their app, the POCs were extremely responsive and always willing to call, their rates were competitive with all the big banks, and most importantly they remained flexible with all the ups and downs of home buying. Overall the picture to closing was amply laid out by the team at Veterans United. At times I felt I could be doing more but my team had it already completed.
It was great from the very beginning. As soon as I filled out my application he contacted me and answered my questions at that moment.
Mr. Crites was great, and so was his team. He may not have been able to talk on the phone a lot, but he made sure I was in the loop with text messages and emails. He also called back anytime I left a message or texted him. He was very kind and thoughtful with my needs and made sure I received the best deal on my new home.
Brandon was awesome! It took almost two years to get this mortgage done. He always returned calls and emails immediately and seemed to always have the answers to our questions. We couldn't have done this without Brandon's help. I would, and recently have, suggested him to others. He gets a 10 out of 10 from us!
