Veterans United’s technology made uploading documents easy, but my experience with the loan officer was disappointing. She was not proactive, repeatedly asked for redundant documents, and did not correct key details like my wife’s name until the last moment. On top of that, she was unaware of how Power of Attorney works and only said I could sign on my wife’s behalf on closing day—while it was actually my realtor who correctly advised that a notarized copy was needed. Because of these gaps, my realtor had to step in often, and the closing was delayed. I would recommend Veterans United, but not my loan officer.


Overall, a 10! The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that the final closing documents are finalized before the moment of closing! That was extremely annoying! Show up expecting to pay one thing and all of the sudden; nope you must pay this! Also, please fix the issue about having to constantly having to get the DocuSign reset. Every time my Loan team would send me something it would say that my session had timed out and to reverify. Well there is no place or link to do that!

I would 100% recommend Veterans United! It was the easiest, most stress free process for buying a home! I am extremely thankful for the team I had as they took the time to answer any questions and explain everything into detail.
