Our experience with Veterans United home loans has been great. I recall when I ask Matt if we could qualify for a larger amount due to homes being taken in a rather quick manner. Matt was eager to assist us and I qualified for the amount needed. As a veteran I would just like to say "thank you" for everything you've done for us. I'm a retired reservist with 28 years of service in the Air Force and as we say in the Air Force "Aim High" you guys have really accomplished this.

I went into this process not knowing and not having any experience with VA loans. The way Janet Bowe and Tommy Purk guided me, explained everything to me was very appreciated. They relaxed any type of anxiety I had which made this a very pleasant experience.
My home buying team was excellent. They were all friendly and quick to resolve issues. I was able to close early because the loan team was on their A game every day throughout the process.
I gotta be honest, it was a little stressful. TONS of documents needed, and many of them needed more than once... some more than two or even three times. It got to be a bit much.

The only issue was when we found out the appraisal was coming in on Tuesday the 23rd and the closing was scheduled on the 25th, nobody told us there was a mandatory 3-day time requirement. We were told at the last minute that we couldn't close on the 25th. As soon as you found the appraisal was coming back the closing should have be rescheduled. The only thing that helped us is the house was a new construction and the builder graciously allowed us to move in a day earlier. You and the realtor should have caught this and not created so much stress on us. That said, I still highly recommend both you and the realtor.
We have been truly blessed by the outstanding professionalism and determination of Jeff and Shan. They spent many hours, days and then months working on our loan. They showed us sincere love and concern for us while we traveled this journey. We had many unforeseen obstacles placed in our way and they never gave up on us. They worked tirelessly to help us obtain our dream of owning a home. They prayed for us while we waited to overcome our difficult circumstances. They gave us Hope during the times that we did not see the light at the end of the tunnel. Through it all, we have been grateful that God placed Jeff and Shan in our lives. May God continue using them both, to bless the lives of those they assist along the path of owning a home. We will forever be grateful to them for their sincerity and passion for what they do. Terrible Experience. We’re not proactive in trying to get our home closed on time. Terrible communication. Never heard from the loan officer Jerry even when it was clear that we were frustrated by the one month delay in our closing. Would never recommend veteran’s united to any of our veterans.
