The process was painless and not much stressful.
Our experience with Aaron and Veterans United home loans was so easy I could hardly believe it. He was always available or very quick to get back to me. Correspondence was quick and efficient with the whole team. He was level headed and didn't try to get me to buy the farm when I could only afford a barn. 08/29/2025 at 10:00 AM the title agency called me and stated the loan had closed and funds had been dispersed. At around 4:00 PM I received a text from my realtor who had been paid stating the loan had nots been funded. We had already moved in the house by that time. I call VA Home Loans and Dika said the loan had not been funded. This all took place over Labor Day and on Tuesday AM I called Priority title and the loan had been funded and they paid all parties. This caused my wife and I a lot of worry and stress. I have been in real state investing along time and any loan officer that makes a mistake needs to own it not place blame. I truly enjoyed working with Alan David. He made the home buying process much easier and less stressful. He always answered my questions quickly no matter how silly they may have seemed and always put my mind at rest if there was anything that I was anxious about. I love Veteran's United's portal which was easy to navigate and would show anything that we needed to do on our part and walked us through each step of the home buying process. We used them for our 1st home and now our 2nd home loan.
It has been 24 years since my husband separated from the Army and we have never before pursued using his VA loan benefit, so the process was new to us. I was hesitant to go this route simply based on the fact that we knew nothing about the process and this was our third home purchase in 21 years. We got great service from everyone at VU! And there was so much we didn't know and needed to have explained along the way. The biggest thing that stands out in my mind about our experience is how EASY everything was and how seamlessly the process was from initial loan approval to closing. We got the keys to our home yesterday (10/25) and our closing date was 11/4!
