If you’re a Veteran, and you’re looking to buy a home, do yourself and your family a favor and contact Veterans United, you won’t regret it. A top notch organization with the knowledge and experience to make the dream of home ownership a breeze.I had been renting a single family house that we really liked for almost 8 years when I got the dreaded phone call from the landlords informing us that they were terminating our tenancy and selling the house. My wife and I were devastated and had no idea what we were going to do especially in this market. My next phone call was to Veterans United. Taylor Deppe got us pre-approved in a lightening flash. Throughout the whole process it felt like VU was in our corner and they guided us through every step of the way. The horrid friends and family warned us about never happened.I’m happy to say that today my wife and I are proud homeowners looking forward to finally making the house we’ve spent so many years in into our HOME.Proud to be a Veteran

Very pleased with VU. The online portal is fantastic and helpful to see what needs to be done on my end. Would definitely use VU and Ta’Tianna / Chris again.

VU is a company which cares about veterans. The whole experience was awesome. Directions for how to get to the finish line were clear and concise. I would 100% recommend every veteran use VU for their home buying needs. Thank you so much for make this veterans dreams come true
The underwriting requirements were repetitive and unreasonable, especially for people exercising less than half of a modest pre-approved loan amount and extremely low debt to income amount. This sentiment was echoed by the seller, who handles VA loans regularly. Documents were requested that they have never heard of and had to jump through a lot of hoops to meet the requests. As their first time with VU, this lender stood out as difficult, and we felt the same on our end. There just seemed to be an unwarranted amount of red tape compared to our previous two VA loans when this should have been our simplest ever with a down payment, excellent credit, and no contingencies on other homes.
