The portal is great and easy to use and now we can continue to use it to make our mortgage payments and communicate with Veterans United Home Loans. The only ding and the reason it wasn’t a 10 was your underwriters. At one point they almost caused me to completely stop the process and go back to NFCU. Their communication was poor, put me behind the eight ball twice. With both of our credits being 800+ and zero late or missed payments I expected better. In the end it all worked out, but should not have been such a stressful endeavor. If Andrea and Jarrett hadn’t made me feel like they were working so hard to help me, I wouldn’t be recommending VU to anyone, they were your saving graces.
