Poor communication would not return phone calls text messages
Response from Veterans United
Hi John,
I’m really sorry to hear you couldn’t get your calls or messages returned. You deserve clear communication, and I’d like to look into what happened. Please reach out to my team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com so we can help.
Both my reps, Tyson and Brandon were always updating me and with constant help to make sure everything was done right.

I didn’t have a consistent agent. I think I had like 5 people all together, some only assisting for a few days. Then they told me closing was going to be about $20k and it ended up being $46k. I mean they apparently do this for a living and they weren’t even close. To make it worse, they didn’t get the final numbers ready until the day before closing. That’s not okay. On top of that, I’m the one that had to tell them there was an issue with the numbers. This whole process was a joke.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Robert,
I’m really sorry to hear how difficult this process felt for you. Having several different people involved and then seeing your estimated closing costs change so dramatically would leave anyone frustrated, especially when the final numbers didn’t come together until the day before closing. You shouldn’t be the one catching issues or feeling unsure about what to expect, and I hate that this was your experience. I’d really like the chance for my team of advocates to look into what happened and talk through your concerns. You can reach me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com whenever you’re ready.
Chris L and his team along with Cooper, Walter, and Crosby were very instrumental in making our mortgage process smooth with very few, but expected hiccups, along the way. Any and all issues or concerns I raised were immediately addressed, explained, and resolved. We stayed on course and closed on the anticipated date. I highly recommend Veterans United for any mortgage needs.

What a seemless process. So easy to work with, especially when you're working around the clock like I am. They get the job done while exceeding the standard, which I know is important to most people, especially veterans.

Veterans United was with us from start to end with our home purchase! Our Loan Officer, Ben Rutledge was very professional and knowledgeable. He was always available and able to answer any questions we have. We appreciate being informed during the entire loan process.

My home loan process was extremely disappointing.communication from Alix Iriate was rude and very poor . I cannot recommend this lender based on my experience. The service was very unacceptable , important information was not provided in a timely manner the whole process was very stressful.
