First time buying a house. It was stressful journey but at the end, it was definitely worth it! Thank you for your help Veterans United Team for making this happen!

Highly recommend Veterans United to anyone that are looking for financing a home

Overall, the experience was positive. VU went out of their way to fix outside problems and their own.

Easy to work with and caring. Very helpful and quick to advise in order to make the loan process very easy and painless.

The home buying experience with Veterans United Home Loans was incredible. The team was very knowledgeable, dependable and reliable. A true group of professionals that kept me engaged and informed during entire process.

Great rate. I think their web portal is GREAT. User Friendly, informative, everything at your fingertips. My problem with Veterans United is communication. I had to continuously pull information about where we were in the process, what needed to happen next, etc. Some of my inquiries went completely unanswered. The VA appraisal is one example. I did not know it was scheduled and didn't even know it had occurred until I asked about it and was told it had already happened, but were just waiting on the report. I should not have been the last to know. On day of closing, I was notified that VU needed additional banking info from a house that I had already sold and had provided all closing docs a couple weeks prior. Not only was the information that was being requested completely irrelevant (how much money I received from previous sale after mortgage was paid), the fact that it was being asked for the day of closing was completely unsat. Not sure if I would recommend VU or not. This is my third home purchase with VA loan and it was definitely the most painful of the three experiences.
Response from Veterans United
Hello Birce, we appreciate hearing from you and wanted to take a moment to follow up on your comments. Thanks for sharing with our team., the VA appraiser is not selected by Veterans United but rather is handled directly by the Department of Veterans Affairs. While we do not take responsibility for third party actions, it was beneficial to explore this topic further with you. Communication is a vital key in the loan process and we always strive to have a great working communication line with all of our loan teams. We hope that you enjoy your new home and that our explanations have helped improve your experience overall.

Please see my email sent last night. It has better comments.

I would recommend Veterans United Home Loans to any veteran looking to buy a home.

I had a very positive experience. I shopped around before deciding on Veterans United, but no one gave a better offer. Throughout the process they helped explain everything and responded quickly to any questions I had. As a first time homebuyer I couldn't ask for better service from a lender. I will be recommending them in the future to my family and friends.

I will close by saying all team members that assisted me in this process were professional and followed the lead of my loan officer Zack in securing my loan. Better service is what you get from the staff if VU. Above all their honesty in forefront to everything they do. Leon Harris

In one word I would say buying a home with Veterans United is "incredible." Truly an unexpected level of speed, proficiency and care provided for something most veterans would expect to be horrible, impersonal and bureaucratic process as we have grown so accustomed to in other areas of veteran befits. If you are veteran even flirting with the idea of buying a home be sure to start with Veterans United.
