He explained every detail of the process, he was responsive to emails usually within minutes, and he was always so friendly and knowledgeable. When Reed needed to be with his family during the birth of his child, the rest of the loan team picked right up where Reed left off and got us to the finish line. Even when the timeline was getting tight due to the fact that we live in Israel and the closing documents were a mail-away package, the loan team was able to rush our clear to close and get us closed right on time. I would recommend that the VA reevaluate its appraisal process. It doesn’t allow for home buyers who use VA loans to be competitive with other buyers who have commercial mortgages. The appraisal process was unfortunate, that it under cut the value of the home, especially in a hot market. We would have lost our home to another buyer without my parents financial support. (I’m lucky to have had it!) This needs be addressed for our veterans to afford and own a home. Thank you
