Thanks to everyone!!
All I can say is thank you to the team for being honest and providing the best insight on this loan. From start to finish, I felt at ease with the entire process, and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you for making my loan process easy and not burdensome. Thank you Veterans United for training a GREAT group of people!
The whole Veteran's United team made the process on their side of the house extremely smooth. Thanks Joe and the rest of the team!
The home buying process was really smooth with Veterans United. I like how everyone was pretty spun up on using the VA loan. My only complaint is I asked a question to one of my homebuying members and received the wrong answer, and it was not a huge deal but overall I would definitely use them again.
Nick and his team were amazing with balancing communication, options, and ensuring we kept in contact through the entirety of the process. They also took time to fully understand our needs and what we wanted to do on the financial side of the process. Lastly, they were all instrumental in keeping the teams connected between title, underwriting, real-estate, etc. I will absolutely use Veterans United to refi or purchase a home and would have no question if it came to providing a recommendation.
It was an overall great and overwhelming experience, but Jaime was very helpful!
I couldn’t have asked for a better home buying experience! My team at Veterans United is unmatched! I found, went into contract, and closed on a home in LESS THAN 30 days! I don’t know what kind of Superpowers you all possess, but I’m thankful that you put them into action for me. Beyond grateful for Veterans United and this whole experience!
VU team was awesome and I would definitely recommend them to someone looking to buy a home.
I thought your rates were within the average market rates. Locking the rate at 45-60 days out would have been more beneficial as rates constantly changed during the process. I didn't like linking my accounts and felt pressure to do so. Mark was a tremendous help as there was some confusion with the other agent about my down payment and final closing cost. He was quick to respond or had someone else respond when he wasn't available. I would recommend VU to other home buyers. I think the more I pay for a house the more incentive you should give. Thanks for supporting me in this endeavor. It was nice to work with VU again.
Chris was absolutely phenomenal throughout this entire process from start to finish. He was quick to answer my questions & return my calls & he never came to me with a problem without having a solution. It was a pleasure working with him & would hands down recommend
All in all I would say that this experience has been an amazing journey and we couldn't be happier with our team and the absolutely perfect house that we found to make our forever home.

I highly recommend Tyler!
The best loan officer definitely going to recommend her to my friends and family
Too much runaround Too many to-do's. The appraiser appraised the house at less than I was paying for the house, but didn't bother checking to see how much the seller was asking. Appraised at 303,000. Asking price 299,900. I offered 310,000 because I wanted the house. Veterans United dragged their feet and kept having us sign and review documents that sometimes were not necessary. We really felt that Veteran's United didn't want to lend us the money because we were only borrowing 62,775. Even on the day of closing they managed to screw things up and delayed the closing by over an hour. I never had any mortgage company treat us this way. As a Vet, maybe this was a fluke, but I can't recommend Veteran's United from my experience.
Response from Veterans United
John, we’re sorry if our actions led you to have a less than amazing experience. Government-backed loans do require documentation to ensure consumers are protected, regardless of the amount of the loan. While things can change during the loan process, we don’t ask for any information that is not needed to meet underwriting guidelines. The VA is in charge of managing the VA appraisers and their actions, but our Client Advocate Team is available to discuss any outstanding questions or concerns about that process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
