The process was outstanding until it got down to close to closing, I did not receive the exact dollar amount needed for closing until 19 hrs before the closing appointment, leaving me very little time for error getting to the bank then to the closing 75 miles from my home early the next mornin

The staff was attentive to my needs. Much praise for Aaron and his assistants for orchestrating a mortgage tuned to my needs.

Great people to work with!!!!

Allison and Shelbie helped out so much! I had some pretty specific questions and they had perfect answers for me!

Sent some of they same things multiple times because was lost. Other than that everything went great.

The loan officers and assistants were very personable and professional. Whenever I had a question or left a voicemail, the question or call would be promptly answered or returned. The website that VU utilizes is also very user friendly and easy to navigate for uploading documents. It even has walkthrough videos with each step of the home buying process.

Jason and his team were awesome.

Mr Clay Rose gave me the initial loan estimate on 1 Feb 2018. At that time the loan amount was $174,852 30 year fixed at 4.25% and $0 points. His quote was easily the best of five I was obtaining. Once all the loan estimates were in I selected Veterans United and got an updated loan estimate for $151,851 (my available down payment had increased) 30 year fixed at 4,25%, but the Points went from 0$ to $2,278. Two of the other lender candidates warned me that the 0 points was a "bait & switch" tactic. I am convinced that is true. I stayed with VU only because their interest rate was the best while the points were similar. I also figured they would be able to handle the VA loan better than most. That too turned out to be false. We barely made the closing date because of a last minute "rush". Many of the late requests for information or documents, in retrospect, should have been anticipated. The loan coordinator was slow in responding to questions on email. The paperwork to subordinate a home equity line of credit was particularly slow requiring me to get personally involved to "make it happen". I got the impression that a delay beyond the lock date for my interest rate would have been welcome had interest rates not gone down.

I was a first time home buyer and did not know what to expect. Veterans United guided me through all of the documents and paperwork that I needed for my loan to be approved.

The best group of people to work with. Excellent customer care and guidance to finishing the loan process from beginning to end. Thank you team

Amazing experience. Very quick service.

They were with me from the beginning when I didn’t think I’d ever qualify for a house until less than a year later when I closed!

Highly recommendable to anyone best experience
