This is my first home loan let alone VA Loan. Veterans United was nothing but easy to work with and extremely helpful during the whole process. They were able to answer any question I had and I was able to close in under 30 days. I will 100% recommend VU to any of my fellow service members looking to buy a house at their current base and will use them for all of my future VA loans.
My husband and I had a mostly positive experience with Veterans United. The house we submitted an offer for in early June had one competing offer. The sellers were interested in our offer, but stipulated that they would only accept our offer if we were able to close by the end of June. I reached out to my loan officer team to ask if this was possible, and they responded very quickly that they would be able to meet this deadline if we submitted the signed contract ASAP. Our offer was accepted, and the loan team was able to clear us for closing in time for the closing date we agreed to. We were also happy with the interest rate we ended up getting, which was better than the rate we got during pre-approval.We did hit a few snags along the way (mainly with underwriting), but ultimately it worked out. Thank you for moving quickly and making this happen for us.

Kris was always available. If he didn’t have the answer, he was very quick to find it. Very professional and pleasant to work with. I’d use him again in a heartbeat! Fourth home I’ve purchased and far and away the smoothest experience.
We also had another agent help us with our home loan and that was Jennifer Lopez (transition coordinator). She helped us with our home loan. She was awesome with an issue we had that came up in the last minute with the homeowner that was selling. She was on top of that issue and was instrumental in getting the issue resolved. We appreciated all the hard work that both the ladies did for us in this process.

First of all being a veteran is the best thing but you could have ever done. Serving your country! Veteran United as fast an efficient will keep you informed all the transactions that you go through. I would recommend them to anybody that's in the home buying process.
