Only two issues. One, the closing costs were estimated at 10-15k initially but were closer to 20k. Second, my wife’s name was not on the deed at closing. Others than that, everything was great.
The loan officer, Cory Peebles, did an outstanding job. He had all the answers, knew what was needed, knew everything was good from the start, and he drove the process right to the finish line with ease. I really appreciated his outstanding competence. I have dealt with others at Veterans United in the past, and Cory was by far the most competent I have dealt with.
Bryan was great and honest every step of the way. I really was worried, but Bryan was able calm us down and was with us every step of the way.
They worked with us and were always ready and answered whatever questions we had at honestly any time past working hours too! Great team made the experience easy and enjoyable!

Everything went great up until the final closing estimate. Not to many single mom's are fortunate to have approx $20,000 extra for closing costs. So it was a shocker from estimate to final.
We were extremely satisfied with all that occurred this last month leading up to our closing. All questions and issues we had were quickly addressed and solved even after hours. All persons we dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful.

Mike Smith and his team stayed on topic from start to finish with daily and some times hourly updates. It was truly amazing to be a part of this process and watch the team address obstacles and overcome them. I closed on time, Mike and Lora were great at keeping everyone focused, informed and on task including me.
