Very pleasant efficient experience
My first experience with VU in 2014 was outstanding. This experience was terrible. I will say the Lighthouse program is great and got my credit score up. My loan was ignored for weeks and last minute nightmares every day. I was so disappointed.
After getting a preapproval letter which we used to make an offer on a house, after 4 weeks into the loan process, it was suddenly discovered that we had a short sale 6 1/2 years ago and no longer qualified. We had to start all over and try to complete a different loan in 4 weeks. How that got missed from our credit report that they had days before we got the preapproval demonstrates that there are holes in their systems that delayed our move in and cost us $ for trucks, storage, etc.
