Veterans United worked hard on our behalf to help us purchase our new home. We were happy to see everyone professionally working in different areas and it all stayed together for the end result of a happy family with a Beautiful new home. We felt secure in trusting Veterans United handling our loan.
The communication during the loan was less than adaquate. Items arrived at random times relying on email response without verbal notice of documents needed causing much frustration because you are not always home to do thing by email with time restraints. Caused conflict during a birthday vacation.
The communications between the lender and the borrower were exceptional. As a borrower, I always knew what was going on because VU was constantly updating. Comforting.

The people at VU were very efficient and kept us in the loop at all times.
I ask that the Veterans are notified when the rates drop so they can lower their payments. Many are ill and need that break. In addition, the Veteran should be offered the option of receiving their escrow or not and not charged to refinance their loan if they qualify. Also not all realtors are vetted and we got a dishonest realtor....and sold a money pit ! These are my only concerns about Veterans United.
