Yes I would definitely use Veterans United because I was weary about having to pay Appraisal fees upfront without being fully approved but I was told everything looked good with Conditional approval and it all worked out but please beware of Realtors trying to speed things up before Veterans United gives the OK to do it. This my 2nd time with them no problems.

My advice to other veterans, if your credit is holding you back, they will work with you to repair it. I started my journey with my credit in shambles but due to the lighthouse program and the tenacity at which my Veterans untied loan officer guided me, what seemed like would take years only took a few months. Owning a home seemed like a dream that would never come true but now I'm turning my new house into my family's home.
Zach and the rest of the team at Veterans United (Bianca, Jaysen amd Amanda) were super helpful. They made my wife and my dream of owning a home possible. They worked tirelessly and made every effort of making things go smoothly as well as communicating every step of the way. They were prompt to respond any questions and notify us of any additional information needed from us. Overall we had a great experience working with them. Honestly, they were so professional and friendly they even involved our soon to be or son and pets in the whole process making this a family experience.
