Ken was the Best! He was very personable and always available! He never made me feel like I was bothersome with all my questions. He went above and beyond to explain in detail any issue I brought to him. He made the process so smooth even when we ran into issues (not due to him) and fought to keep things moving in my favor! Above all he LISTENED! And to prove he listened he sent the most appropriate house warming gift that was exactly our family, not just a run of the mill item!

This is the most comprehensive and professional way to purchase a home, even with complications. We had a contingency deal where we had to sell our old house at the same time we bought a new one, using the equity from the old house sale as a down payment. They made the process nearly effortless. Their web interface is very well put together and manages each step clearly. It's easy to keep track of what you need to do at various stages. The people I dealt with smoothed everything over nicely, working with the title company and my realtor.The title company ultimately managed the movement of funds from the sale to the purchase, but without Veterans United I am not sure we could have succeeded in this housing market where timing is everything and corporations are buying houses to rent them out with cash. It's hard to become a homeowner when flippers and corporations use the incorrect buying method, posing as live-in purchasers. Basically you are offering a loan versus the cash the investors have. With investors using shady purchasing practices, and house prices continuing to inflate, we had a steep hill to climb.But despite these challenges, having a team like Veterans United helped us find the right house, secure a good rate, and move the seal along pretty quickly.
Tay Carson made the entire process smooth and fairly effortless. Answered all the questions my wife and I had also he and his team sent us surprise gifts along the way that were greatly appreciated. Overall great experience, have nothing to complain about. Would recommend and will use again in the future.
