This was my second time using Veterans United. It was another great experience. Lauren and Kaleb were fantastic!



The experience was incredible and the entire team made it very straightforward everyone knew what to do and were always there to help if we had questions, I will definitely utilize veterans United again when the time comes.

It was over all very good, I felt like there was some miscommunication between all of the people involved at times. Most of this probably couldn't have been avoided though.

This is not my first time using veterans United. My initial dealings were with Josh and his team found out that Josh had since moved on, and Miss Giuliana has taken his team over. I initially contacted veterans United regarding getting prequalified for a new home. We got pre-qualification done within a couple of days, however having decided to not purchase a new home and to do a cash out refinance we got that done as well with record time, 19 days




Very nice team I worked with. They were helpful in everything there was to do along the way. They were always in contact with me especially towards the end and connected me to the right services for the home move in also. Thank you so much in helping me move into my home and get started.


Even though I had minor kinks, overall my experience was still great, I would definitely recommend any of my fellow veterans to give Veterans United a try.

I was not approved because of my credit score through another lender. I filled out the application here and someone noticed that there was something on my credit report that could be fixed. I had no idea that it was affecting my score so much. They were able to give me phone numbers to call to get the documentation to remove it from my credit report. My score jumped over 30 points and I was approved. The other lender did not help with this at all. I would recommend and have already recommended them to my friends and family. Without their help, I would not have been able to buy this house!

Elizabeth was overall fantastic to work with - This was about a 15 month process and she spent a TON of time getting us a pre-approval for the build, and then working with us closely.
However, it was apparent that several lenders wanted this loan for what I presume was the size of it and credit that I have. I had other competitive offers and Elizabeth did her best to assure me that VU would make modifications if the market shifted to keep VU competitive.
Although she worked very hard to get VU to give more credits, for which I am very thankful for, it was not enough to counter the rates I could have gotten with float down options that were offered to me. Additionally I was promised over writing that VU would cover extension costs and at the end of the day when they were needed, the costs were hidden until I found them and then told that VU wouldn't pay for them. These subtle things made me lose trust in VU and I am not confident that I got the best deal here. Ultimately I am going to refinance when allowed, and will not be using VU going forward.
