Yes the paperwork was completed properly, but there should be a higher standard here. While on a conference call with Koleen Barnes and agent Brandon Brown of Southfort Realty I really tried to explain how I felt about being swindled on this home purchase and even said "I do not want to proceed with this contract, but feel like I am being forced to under the threat of being sued", , but she did not seem to grasp what I was saying, and I was told I would probably get sued and should proceed with the contract. Things were purposely slowed down to go beyond due diligence date. After I initiated the contract date, the seller had a survey performed selling off about one half of the property, but did not register this new survey until a month later and after the due diligence date. Somebody at Veterans United should have picked up on this. And there should be insurance to protect veterans against less then complete honesty...
