It had its up and its downs but with such an amazing team that worked close at hand with my realtor, not only did they get my family into our new home, but they helped me look for the cheapest and easiest route! Everyone was amazing until the last few days. Closing costs were not finalized until 1220 with closing at 3. Closing costs were quoted wrong requiring 2 trips for cashiers checks cutting the time very close. We came very close to not closing as scheduled. The seller was supposed to sign at 10 in the morning and was postponed by at least two hours. Additional paperwork was requested from us on Friday before closing. Additional forms had to be signed for veterans on the day of closing at 1 o’clock. It made the last couple days very stressful when I feel like it should have been more organized. An apologies was given.
If you're a first time home buyer, I would HIGHLY recommend Veterans United. Taylor and Natalie made the process so simple and the videos were super helpful! The VU website is user friendly. I was terrified of the home buying process and am now shocked at how simple it was...all thanks to my team :). Thank you Veterans United for changing our lives!
