I was surprised by how much money I needed for fees and inspections and additional work that may or may not have been required to finalize my refinance.I thought either VU would pay for those and be reimbursed at closing or at the very least, that I would have been reimbursed for more that I paid for - specifically, the $750 VA appraiser fee.Chalk it up to possible miscommunication. VU staff was friendly throughout the process.
