From the beginning of my initial contact with Veterans United Home Loans to the closing on our new home, not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or mistreated or was given unsound or incorrect advice during the whole process. The whole process was disorganized and messy. I had to call multiple times to ensure things were getting done and submitted on time. I also got 3 different quotes on rates and paperwork was getting messed up and had multiple errors on loan estimates. I felt very stressed and unsure if we were going to close in time because the communication wasn’t there like it should have been and I had to continually call and check in to ensure numbers made sense and things were being done in time. As a veteran who earned this benefit I highly regret using the VA home loan with VA. I believe it would have been a much smoother process through any other lender.
