I had no information no numbers no clue what was going on and what dayUltimately did not have enough money off the numbers that I was given the team from Veterans UnitedAlthough I own the property now, I still am confused about every single portionMy insurance was not paid. It was canceled because they did not issue a check in time.
The purchase for the house was made before I was made aware
The cash for closing was incorrect entireThe agency they used for assessment was a particularly expensiveThe entire process was unclear the team seemingly through random numbers and paperwork, and I have to do everything the entire process myself or at least step in to make sure that everything was correct

The reps over promised and under delivered. I was charged fees for a concierge that did much of nothing. Also, the entire purchase as a FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER AND A DISABLED VETERAN was stressful and frustrating. I’m stuck with a home that should’ve been listed as ‘AS IS”. Highly disappointed. It’s been a month and I still can’t move in.

I’m really sorry to hear how frustrating and overwhelming this has been for you. Buying your first home should feel exciting, and I can only imagine how discouraging it must be to feel like expectations were not met, especially as a disabled Veteran who trusted us to guide you through the process.

Hearing that you feel services were overpromised and underdelivered, including the concierge support, is concerning. You should always feel clear on what you’re receiving and why you’re being charged for it. I also understand how upsetting it must be to be dealing with home condition issues that are preventing you from moving in. While the VA appraisal focuses on determining value and meeting basic property requirements, it does not replace a full home inspection, and I’m sorry if any part of that process felt unclear or unsupported.

From the beginning of my initial contact with Veterans United Home Loans to the closing on our new home, not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or mistreated or was given unsound or incorrect advice during the whole process. Everyone, from beginning to end, was 100% professional and overwhelmingly polite and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I was going to need before going to closing and making sure there were no last minute problems, which there were none. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran, and I wouldn't say this if it were not my true feelings. I would recommend Veterans United to any and all Veterans, and I would recommend them to my children and my friends. Thank you Veterans United for making this a great and outstanding experience!!!
