Everyone on the team that helped me was super helpful and knowledgeable. However, the only issue I ran into could have been avoided. I had 2 weeks before I hit my 6 years in service. I was told to send my updated point summary as soon as posted. The problem was is that no one told me it can take 40 days before that system updates. so at the very last minute they gave me a second option to complete. This could have been done while I was waiting those 2 weeks and avoided the high stress that didn't get resolved until the day before closing.

Yes, I would definitely recommend the team I had to help me maneuverer through the homebuying process. If I had to do it over again, I would want the same team. And Jeremy, was phenomenal, kind, understanding and I felt so confident throughout each phase of the loan. I didn't know about VU, but from this point on I will recommend all I encounter who wants to buy a home to VU.
A couple words come to mind when I think of the experience we had with Veterans United and specifically with our loan officer, Mason Fast. Thoroughness and professionalism. From the first time I contacted him and throughout the entire loan process ending with our closing, Mason was always available to answer any questions we had. His answers ultimately resolved our questions/concerns. Mason made the purchase of our condo seem quite easy and, in the end, successful. I would definitely work with him again if needed.

VU was an amazing experience for our first-time home buy. I was continually impressed with how much thought and effort they've clearly put into crafting the experience: they covered all bases. I felt highly valued as a person. Dean Crippen was our awesome loan officer. He and his associate Sean Allen (equally awesome) were both energized to get the win for us. Dean and Sean were diligent about keeping the process on track and moving forward quickly, keeping all parties connected in. We started the process on May 22 and closed on the house, keys in hand, on June 24. That's speed! They were highly communicative and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better experience. My family and I are so happy with our new home.

They addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions, but which I had many, in a timely professional manner that I could understand.
